Eternal Glades is proud to be part of the Kingdom of Blackspire, and we meet weekly in Tigard, Oregon at beautiful Summerlake Park. Where to Find the Rules
Learn the game at your own pace.
Everything you need to know is in the Amtgard Rulebook, which covers combat, classes, spells, and more. Don’t worry—we’ll walk you through the basics when you show up. You don’t need to read it all before your first visit, just come ready to have fun!
How to Get a Weapon
Try before you build or buy.
We have loaner weapons available (just ask!), so there’s no need to bring your own gear right away. Once you’re hooked (and you probably will be), we can help you learn how to build safe, battle-ready weapons—or point you toward trusted makers who sell them.
How to Get Garb
No costume? No problem.
You don’t need to show up in fantasy garb your first day—but once you’re ready, we can help! We have loaner outfits and lots of tips for putting together simple, affordable looks. Whether you sew your own tunic or raid the thrift store, looking the part makes the game even more immersive.
Where and When to Show Up
Find us at Summerlake Park.
We meet every Saturday at noon in Summerlake Park (Tigard, OR) near the soccer field (or under the covered area when its raining). Fighter practices also happen on Thursdays at 6pm. Look for the people in medieval gear (or gym-clothes on Thursdays) waving foam swords—we’re the friendly ones.

What Happens on a Typical Day?
Most days start with gear check and warm-ups, followed by battlegames, quests, or tournaments. You’ll also find people crafting, chatting, or sparring on the sidelines. Show up, sign in, and let your adventure begin!
What is the Kingdom of Blackspire?

Eternal Glades is part of the Kingdom of Blackspire, one of Amtgard’s many kingdoms across the world. Blackspire spans parts of Oregon and southern Washington, uniting multiple parks like ours into a larger community.
Being part of Blackspire means we get to attend kingdom-level events, meet players from other parks, and vote in kingdom elections. It also gives our local players the chance to earn honors, titles, and awards that are recognized across Amtgard.
Whether you stay local or travel to events, Blackspire connects us to a vibrant world of adventure beyond our own park!
